New and Improved, maybe.

It begins. The new wiretapestry is here. Well, the old wiretapestry is still here too, but that's because I don't want to delete the fun knitting posts from my earliest knitting days.

This is a weblog that looks for intersections of faith and fandom. By fandom, I am referring specifically to science fiction and fantasy, although that can be a bit stretchy at times (for instance, I'm a Veronica Mars fan and I read an awful lot of mysteries in which the sleuth is a female Episcopal priest).

At any rate, it happens a lot more often than you might think.

And off we go...

You gots too many blogs, chica. :-)

Well, In the spirit of shameless self-promotion, I'll plug a couple of "classic" posts of my own on this juxtaposition of subjects:

All I need to know about discipleship I learned from Buffy

and

Walkabout

Peace,
Mike

I've always had too many blogs... this is what happens when you're a *compulsive writer!*

I'm going to top-post these at some point; when i get tagging going on it will be FMF in the wild or something like that...

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Of course, you can link to the Star Wars post. Being the editor of a "magazine" and down both an editorial assistant and administrative assistant for the past month has made blogging rare for me these days. Oh yeah, and my stupid laptop won't stay online. Obviously the Force isn't with me these days!
